Get to know the Archer team
Meet some of the fast-thinking, hardworking Archer associates who drive our success.
I am VP & Manager in our Operations Department, overseeing Account Services (new account onboardings, account changes, account closures), Operational Controls (validating and organizing our department controls, documenting and updating procedures, quality checks), and Operational Readiness (participating in the new Archer client onboarding representing Operations). I stay motivated by setting personal and professional goals for myself and consistently working to achieve them every year. Some years are better than others, but I always find myself ahead of where I was the year before. Staying disciplined and maintaining focus on the end goal plays a key role in keeping me motivated.
I oversee the Institutional Middle Office team, managing daily and monthly reconciliation and reporting and collaborating with my team and other departments at Archer to drive process improvements. One of the qualities I bring to my position is excellent problem-solving skills. I am adept at taking complex problems, simplifying them, finding solutions, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. To stay motivated prioritize continuous self-improvement, seeking new challenges and learning opportunities. While motivation isn’t always there, I stay disciplined and committed to my responsibilities, striving to set a good example for my three kids. Surrounding myself with supportive and driven individuals further fuels my motivation.
My role at Archer begins with setting up new accounts with the correct model and activating them when funding is received. After the investment begins, I handle maintenance items such as tax selling, freezes, and any changes needed. At the end of the cycle, I mark the accounts closed and help to ensure any liquidations are processed quickly. Success to me is trying my best each day. Watching the people around me work hard keeps me motivated because I do not want to be a weak link. I also have caring friends and family that push me to improve by keeping each other accountable. We focus on being healthy and avoiding bad habits.
As a Relationship Manager on the Client Experience team, I act as the primary liaison and advocate for our clients. In this capacity, I work closely with internal teams to ensure Archer provides outstanding service to our clients. Having experienced various investment operations tools on the client side, I understood the challenges they face and the solutions they require. Joining Archer presented an opportunity to leverage this understanding to better support clients. A quality I bring to my job is versatility. In my previous roles, particularly as an Investment Operations Manager, managing high-level oversight alongside detailed issue investigation became second nature to me. My guiding principle is to leave every process better than I found it, ensuring smoother experiences for those who follow.
I recently started on the Trade Settlement team as a Trade Support Analyst and am excited for a new challenge. Prior to that, I was working on the Reconciliation team with the Cash Flows group. I am very loyal and good at holding myself accountable. I hold myself to a high standard of seeing things to completion, whether that be in my everyday life or in my career. I try to challenge myself so I can grow not only within my career, but through maintaining strong relationships with those around me. The easiest way for me to stay motivated is by surrounding myself with like-minded, driven individuals. That’s easy to find at Archer!
I oversee the Corporate Accounting; financial planning and analysis; and Internal Reporting / Data Analytics functions at Archer. My role also supports other departments within Archer by providing data, analysis, and metrics that will inform and drive business decisions. I stay motivated by remembering that circumstances do not change your responsibilities – always plan for the unexpected. Also by maintaining a “no excuses” mindset. There is almost always a way you can create opportunity or make a change; and sometimes, blaming circumstances or lack of resources is taking the easy way out. It’s about working with what you have and using the relationships you have to help drive toward the result you want to achieve.
As Senior Programmer Analyst I work on Archer’s backend systems. This involves implementing and designing the many interfaces that we have with third party systems as well as the reports we deliver to our clients. My definition of success is using every one of my talents as best as I can; I am not satisfied with my performance in anything if I cannot legitimately say to myself “I did everything I could there,” regardless of whether I succeeded or failed. “If you want to be good at anything in life, be prepared to be bad at it first.”
I work on the Client Experience team as the Client Service Associate Team Lead. My team and I are responsible for fielding questions from clients and working across Archer to ensure they get what they need. A quality I bring to my job is being a great listener. It’s a critical skill for client service and it’s led me to form strong relationships with my team and our clients. I have learned more in the last year and a half at Archer than I could have ever imagined, and I have never been happier. I genuinely love my job!
As a Reconciliation Operations Specialist, I am responsible for making sure that records for accounts are up to date so that managers can make informed decisions. The ability to adapt and pick up on things quickly is a skill I use in this position. Archer is my first job after completing my undergrad at West Chester University. I’ve been here a little over two years. I would define success as having the power to change the lives of the people around me that I care about the most. It’s easy to make changes in my own life, but to be able to change the course of someone else’s life would make me truly successful.
As a Client Service Specialist, I’m one of the first points of contact for clients. I have 10 years industry experience on both the client side in the institutional space, and the vendor side with a large service provider. This gives me unique perspective into how our clients run their businesses and better understand where they are coming from. Every day is exciting because no two are the same.
As Head of Relationship Management, I get to work with all of Archer’s clients as well as support my team by helping to facilitate communication internally so they can provide the best client experience to Archer’s clients. I define a successful person as doing something that is fulfilling for them. For me, that’s supporting our clients in increasing their revenue and enjoying interactions with Archer. It also means supporting my team to learn and grow — providing them with what they need on that journey.
I oversee the Account Services portion of our Operations team. I manage around 12 people on the team, helping them to streamline processes, support client requests, and address issues and concerns. I stay motivated by my desire to have work done. I’m the same way at home — it bothers me if things aren’t wrapped up and completed at the end of the day. So I always make a list at night — it bugs me otherwise. And when I wake up, those are the things I do first.
I am very big on both mental and physical health. The gym helps me reach my physical goals while my couch allows me to meditate, relax, and regenerate the mind as I prepare for each day.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst on the Finance team, it may sound surprising that the skill I flex the most is thinking creatively outside the box. Usually, people come to me with data proven concepts, and it’s my job to organize the data into a visual presentation that brings their idea to life.
